Adrián Goma
Adrián Goma (Madrid, 1985) has a Master's Degree in Animation, Illustration, Comics and Computer Graphics from ESDIP (Higher School of Professional Drawing). He has received important awards and mentions such as the Barcelona Academy of Art Award at the III Modportrait Portrait Competition 2015 or the Honorable Mention at the XXIX Antonio Arnau Painting Award in Quintanar de la Orden (Toledo, 2020). His work is part of private collections in Germany, Belgium, Spain, the United States and France. For this artist, art is "the exaltation of humanity itself.
Thousands of years of evolution that condense to delight the senses. It is the mirror in which humanity looks at itself. It is chronic and lyrical. It captivates us and subdues us with its own light, blinding and iridescent, alien to reality, but inseparable from it. It is our blood, not just that of artists, but that of everyone.” He almost never tries to send a message (or messages) through his work. What he really seeks is to make associations of ideas, thoughts and ramblings that are configured in an image that coagulates in one way or another in an intricate web of concepts. They are concentrations of images with the intention of reaching a truth more enlightening than reality itself.
